Signage and advertising

Outdoor advertising

Exterior signs and large-format graphics planned around how your building is actually seen: the distance, the angle, the light and the time people have to read it.

Outdoor advertising is the first item on the Telal Sign service list, and it makes up much of the work in the company profile: rooftop lettering, illuminated facade names, wide graphics across showroom glazing and directional signs in busy streets.

A good exterior sign starts with the site rather than the artwork. Before a quotation can be prepared, the team needs to understand the surface, how high the sign will sit, where visitors approach from and whether the message must work after dark. Sharing photographs and approximate measurements early makes that conversation faster and more accurate.

Typical applications

Facade and building names

Lettering and logos that identify a building or tenant from the road, including bilingual English and Arabic layouts.

Rooftop and high-level signs

Signs placed high on a building for long-distance visibility. Access, fixing and structure are assessed for each site.

Large facade graphics

Printed graphics across glazing or cladding for launches, campaigns or a long-term brand presence.

Directional and site signs

Pylons, gantries and projecting signs that help people find an entrance, a car park or a lobby.

Designing for distance and light

Lettering that looks generous on a screen can become unreadable from across a road. Viewing distance, letter height and contrast are discussed together, along with whether the sign should be illuminated so it remains visible in the evening.

If you are unsure, send a photograph taken from where your customers usually approach. That single image often answers more questions than a written description.

Site access and installation

High-level work can require access equipment such as lifts or suspended cradles, and the photographs in the profile show both in use. The right method depends on the building, so it is confirmed during scoping rather than assumed in advance.

Building management approvals, permits or electrical connections are not covered by default. If your site needs them, raise it early so responsibilities can be agreed before work is scheduled.

Questions

Outdoor advertising FAQs

Can you work from photographs before a site visit?

Photographs and approximate measurements are the best starting point for an outdoor enquiry. They help the team understand the site and decide what else needs to be checked before a final quotation.

Do I need approval from my landlord or building management?

Many buildings have rules about exterior signs. Check with your landlord or building management early. Telal Sign can discuss the information you have, but approvals are not assumed to be included.

Can the sign be in English and Arabic?

Yes. Many projects in the company profile use bilingual layouts. Share the wording in both languages if you have it, or ask for artwork support.
